Boredom vs. Writer’s Block Which is the worst enemy?

There are days where boredom seems to run rampant in my household.

Today is one of those days.  The kids are busy playing with their toys, gizmos & gadgets–being kids.  My husband is off to a meeting, and I…Well I am sitting wondering what I should do for the day. With chores done, there seems to be nothing left for me to do.

Normally when I get in a “bored” mood I will work on my books.  Today, not so much.  I can’t seem to tell if it is from boredom or writer’s block that I don’t pull up the files on my book and get to work.

My energy and motivation to write my stories is nowhere in site today.  I know how I want my book to end, but I can’t seem to muster the wherewithal to get the plot moving.  There’s this almost palpable feeling that once I start working on my project I will be interrupted and any headway I have made will be lost.

Oh well.  Seems today is the day boredom and writer’s block are working hand-in-hand.
